The Launch of VISSON

< A group of students with limiting eyesight wanted to promote the advantages and benefits of education for people with limiting eyesight, so that is exactly what we did.

I played a major role in the group's formation and have been Chairperson throughout the group's existance.

Below you will find a cutting from the local paper Chronicle & Echo coverage of VISSON's launch. Dated 6th August 1994.

The cutting contains two pictures of me, the major one is of me sitting at my computer and the smaller one is of me sitting outside my bungalow with Lance my guide dog. Don't know what Lance has to do with it???
